    1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

Actually I've always loved Math, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering so technically I had an interest in these subjects since elementary school and that is why I continued my education up until Ph.D. level in Chemical Engineering which is so much involved with math, chemistry and physics. I continuously was the first student in all my school and university classes and specifically always enjoyed my math, chemistry, physics and technical engineering classes and used to do my homework/projects right away after returning home thanks to my deep interest in these fields. So, I can say I intrinsically love these subjects and also love teaching them and transferring my knowledge to my students. I absolutely enjoy every moment of my teaching/tutoring sessions.

  • 02

    2) Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

I teach ALL Math/Calculus/Algebra/Statistics & Probability, Physics, Modern Physics, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Technical Engineering and many more Advanced Science, Engineering, and MATH (STEM) etc. courses at ALL LEVELS and YEARS (even Postgraduates i.e. Master's and Ph.D. levels).

  • 03

    3) Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

My school teacher was my first role model. She taught me all the basic concepts deeply. At the same time, she was very friendly and used to motivate students to learn a lot and understand concepts fundamentally. My second role model was my Ph.D. supervisor. He was a successful and brilliant professor and researcher in a way that all the students, local and international, truly admired him and tried to take classes and projects with him. He always managed his time very well so he could allocate enough time to his many students. He was very kind and supportive all throughout my difficult Ph.D. journey until I obtained my Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering with the highest grade and became the first student. Both of my above-mentioned teachers were such unique and excellent teachers and forever my role models.

  • 04

    4) What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

The most important qualities required to be a good tutor are: Great knowledge of the subject matter, Patience, Good communication skills, Supportiveness, Kindness etc.

  • 05

    5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

I started university 2 years earlier than my peers so when I went to the classroom on the first day of university, I was the youngest in the class so my classmates couldn't believe it and I had to keep explaining how I had gone to school 1 year earlier and afterwards, I had also studied 2 grades in 1 year and which tests and examinations I had to be taking so in the first month of university, I was just explaining all these to my different lecturers/professors and classmates which was fun as well since it brought back a lot of good and sweet memories of studying and taking many exams!

  • 06

    6) What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?

I can't think of any difficulties I've ever faced in teaching any subjects because I always enjoy teaching so much and I always teach my students so passionately, no matter what the subject is (Math, Physics, Chemistry, engineering technical subjects etc.) or what level they are in (school or university/college/undergraduate/postgraduate), and I can clearly see that they feel this passion and get motivated to learn more and get higher grades which makes me very joyful to witness such.

  • 07

    7) Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

Teaching STEM courses (Math, Physics, Chemistry, and Engineering etc.) is my passion. What makes me passionate about Math, Physics, and Chemistry along with Engineering courses is the profound interest I have in them intrinsically. Because I can feel and see the rules and principles in math, physics, chemistry and engineering in my everyday life and that really makes me more interested and passionate about them. Hence, my passion for all of these subjects is innate.

  • 08

    8) What makes you a Superprof (besides answering this interview questions :-P)?

In all modesty, I would say being patient, caring, positive, understandable, kind, highly experienced and very knowledgeable on the subject matter, makes me a SUPERPROF. It is noteworthy that these attributes are not what I tell about myself but what my students have been telling me over all these long years which is also reflected in their reviews and recommendations that they've left about me on this platform.
