About the lesson
It really depends on the student; there is no one-size-fits-all approach. The 3 factors I focus the most on are:
1. Comprehension (basic understanding of the material)
2. Analysis (ability to dive deeper into the material and come to your own conclusions)
3. Test-taking abilities (working on strategies for multiple choice questions, short answers, and essay skills)
It takes time for me to understand how a student best learns before I decide what teaching style would best work for them.

About Ryan
Hello all! My name is Ryan Stewart. I graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 2019, where I majored in history. I've been working at a sales job at a big tech company since graduation, but my real passion is history and I want to get back to it! I've been tutoring high school history students a couple hours a week the last year and a half, but I'm ready to focus on it full time.
