Edmar was my daughter’s piano teacher for years - we were so sad when he moved out of state! He is really good at working with kids, even if they’re shy or “in a mood” - and he’s a truly amazing pianist!!! That carries through in how he teaches, helping students understand way more than just the mechanics of playing. I highly recommend Edmar!!

You will love working with Edmar. His work with our daughter was patient and methodical at the same time alert to proper pacing to make sure that she was always engaged. At recital time, I was impressed how he taught his students proper etiquette when it was obvious others had not spent time on this. He also encouraged parent involvement. Lastly, Edmar is always enthusiastic when teaching.

Edmar taught all three of my daughters piano when they were in early elementary school. He helped lay the foundation for all kinds of exciting music adventures through the Redlands schools. His lessons were engaging, personalized and FUN! The girls loved Mr. Edmar and always looked forward to their lessons. Recitals were an exciting bonus as well. Edmar led by example by teaching compositions, theory, technique and performance and so much more. He really puts everything he’s got into teaching. 5 stars ️

Edmar is a fantastic teacher! My student had some musical background, but he gave them the world by teaching music theory and how to actually read music. During their piano sessions, there was always a for improv. Edmar taught my child to be spontaneous with their music and have fun. He was always very prompt to lessons and gave great feedback on things to work on during the week.
