NYU Finance Student with 3 years of ESL Experience offering English Tutoring! (Remote)

About the lesson

I am a curious, self-motivated and results-driven individual who enjoys learning as much from students as they do from myself. I have typically taught ESL children between ages 5-14, but I am certainly open to working with anyone who I may help. As an instructor, I approach tutoring with patience and understanding for my students' struggles. Having studied four languages myself, and coming from a bilingual family background, I understand where students may experience frustration and difficulty during the language learning process. I look forward to helping students overcome the initial hurdles of learning English by reassuring and guiding them to the point that they are comfortable, and everything begins to "click".

About Andrew

I am an NYU Junior with a passion for financial analytics, international business, entrepreneurial risk taking, languages and culture. I am currently pursuing my B.S. in Business & Finance, and hold a Minor in Chinese Language from NYU Shanghai. I have years experience working with children and tutoring English to ESL children and family, and am truly passionate in roles as a leader and educator for young people. I have a proven track record as a curious, self-motivated and results-driven individual with life passions including: private portfolio management, physical fitness, language studies, cinematography/animation, international travel and cultural immersion.
