Hi ! I am a french native speaker who loves French language and literature. Translator, subtitler and teacher (with a Master in communication and a Phd in Art & Literature), as well as years of international experience, I am available on line :

About Isabelle

After 17 years teaching around the world (Nepal, India, Tibet, Italy, Spain, Morocco...), and speaking myself several languages, I am convinced that each person has different learning ability and expectations. I do believe it is important to take this into account and adapt the methodology accordingly.

In any case, the understanding of the phonemes and the melody of the phrasing are the basis on which you may build your knowledge of French language. For instance, we will refresh together the main prononciation's principles. Then the grammar and finally the familiar expressions of the spoken language and / or the technical language.

To practice with more fun, I use videos, mp3, cultural quizz, as well as extracts from classic or contemporary literary works, newspaper articles, film clips , broadcasts and Flash news... depending on your level and your needs.
