Greg has a very good flow on the drums. His technique is so good, he makes it look really easy! Plus, he knows how to break down his chops into rudiments that are easily digestible for students. Moreover, he majored in drum performance meaning that he is very well educated in drum reading, technique, and performing.
He is kind and helps you learn in a way where you feel safe to grow and make mistakes. If you are looking for someone down to earth go with Greg!
Gregory is an amazing drummer, educator, inspiration. I have been playing the drums for nearly 7 years. Although he has only trained me for a few months, I’ve already learned so much more than other instructors. He knows many different styles of playing, different genres of music, and he knows how to teach in a simple yet effective manner. I recommend him to all drum students!
Out of all the teachers for drums that I’ve had in my life, Gregory is the only one who took the time to help me correct the problems I’ve had without impending the lesson in its entirety. Instead, he incorporated it into the lesson or the song we would be working on. This is a paramount teaching skill very few possess. If anyone is lucky enough to get lessons from him, they should count themselves blessed!
This guy knows his stuff. He’s very well versed in drumming and has studied and been teaching drums for years. Definitely recommend.
