My teaching method is Socratic, using leading questions to nudge the student toward coming up with the correct answer on his/her own. I also look for other methods, depending on the student, when lecture and questioning aren't appearing to help.

I have taught middle and high school math for more than eight years, both in New York and here in Jacksonville, Fl. I have helped hundreds of students understand math more easily than they had before with a marked increase in grades. I have also prepared many students for the SAT, ACT, and the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery test (ASVAB).
