Well, you have come to the right place!

I have been tutoring computer science-related topics for around 5 years now and have ample experience conveying complicated technical concepts to people of all different backgrounds and levels of understanding. I will work with you to understand the conceptual aspects of programming, as well as help you with the practical difficulties.

I am a hands-on teacher and believe that the best way for students to learn is to get their "hands dirty" with the topic. I like to work through problems live with my students to help them stay engaged and boost their understanding.

My lessons are targeted primarily toward college students, but I am happy to help anyone of any age who has programming questions or who is just getting started and needs some direction. I am also very flexible and would be more than happy to cater to whatever learning styles work for you.

About Miranda

I am currently a master's student studying computer science at the University of Florida. I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in 2020 from UF and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA. I have been tutoring in one capacity or another since high school. Throughout my college career, I have been a TA for two classes where I have taught lessons to classes of students as well as tutored them individually during office hours. I was also employed for several semesters by the Computer Science department at UF to tutor students individually on the content of many of the different classes offered by the department. In this capacity, I tutored many subjects including programming fundamentals, Java, C++, Python, databases, networking, linear algebra, discrete mathematics, and more. I have found it to be very rewarding to share my knowledge with others and help them succeed in computer science. I hope that I can help you as well!
