About the lesson
I like to do a few “games” when I teach drama. There are a few things that help with Improvisational Acting and with Method Acting. Both are good to know and practice. There are few times I’ll provide homework for an acting tutoring session, but I will ask students to think about styles of acting they’ve seen in movies and tv and to describe what they’re looking for as far as my assistance in the areas they describe. I loved being able to act on stage as a kid, and into high school. If I had been able, I would have loved to pursue acting and drama studies in college.

About Elizabeth
I am a former Drama Teacher at an after school program at a Baptist Church in Shepherdsville. I have 4 years of experience teaching Drama, and I also participated in the same program myself as a high school student. I performed in several skits and plays over the course of my high school career, and can use that experience and knowledge to assist students looking for tutoring in this subject. I also was the Writer and Director of a small production involving 12 students with a crowd of about 50 in attendance.

Details
If travel is required, I will need additional time to find a sitter for my son who is 18m old and cannot sit still for an hour. This is why I am asking an additional $10 for traveling.
Teaching mathematics or history or science would be much simpler over a webcam, teaching acting over a computer is much harder, thus the increased price for webcam sessions.
If there arises a need for cancellations, please alert me 48-24 hours in advance so I can alter my schedule. The first time the cancellation occurs outside of that window will be forgiven, however, I will request that half of my fee be paid if more than one canceled session occurs after outside of the cancellation window.
