About the lesson

I try to make every lesson a blend of fun and productivity. A typical lesson would begin with a lighthearted conversation. In my view, it is important for there to be a friendly camaraderie between teacher and student. Then, instead of simply sharing my knowledge with my student, I prefer to engage in active involvement with my student. For example, I would encourage my student to show me how he would work through a problem first then we can workshop any issues afterwards. Finally, the lesson would end with a quick review of the topics we covered that day and assigning homework. Typically, homework will either be practice questions, watching a video, or a practice quiz.
