About the lesson
My approach varies based on the needs of the student. Learning is certainly not a one-size-fits-all ordeal, and so if a student merely needs help on getting their essay started, or perhaps if they just need someone off of whom they can bounce ideas, then I can be that person. I can help a student to develop their thoughts into a single, coherent piece, and I can also give feedback on the formatting they use in their academic essays. I can even help them to analyze literature if given advanced enough notice! Basically, my point is that I am here to be whomever the student needs me to be and that I will help them with whatever they might need help with.

About Addison
I am a creative writing minor with a passion for expression through, well, writing! I have been tutoring for over a year now, and while I have mainly focused on the sciences, I wanted to branch out and help people who might struggle with figuring out how to express themselves or how to write an academic paper with the best of them (citations and all)! I have taken several creative writing workshop classes, so I am very familiar with both the revision process and the art of critiquing other people's works, even in the styles of writing that aren't as commonly viewed as "creative."

Addison has been tutoring for the past year and a half while attending the University of Kentucky with a double major in biology and Spanish and a minor in creative writing. He is currently a junior. He took several AP exams and classes while attending high school. He achieved a score of 35 of the ACT and was named a National Merit Finalist in 2018. He is very passionate about learning and is able to translate that into teaching others in a variety of subjects. I highly recommend Addison as a tutor.
Addison is our grandson. He is a very smart and patient tutor. He is well-rounded in his knowledge base and has a great deal of experience tutoring others.
Addison defiantly knows his stuff! He can explain it multiple ways to make sure it’s clear and will make sure your good along the way!
