About the lesson

First, I like to get a basis of what the student knows, so I know where to start and how fast or slow to pace the sessions. I also always form it around the need the student/parent. If he/she has a music theory test coming up, I approach it differently than if he/she would needs to learn it on an instrumental base.

About Lauren

I graduated high school with a 4.3 GPA, taking advanced courses. I excel in academics along with the arts. I have been taking piano lessons since I was 7 years old and have studied music theory ever since. I also have learned guitar, recorder, and have been vocally trained for 5 years now. I will be graduating top of my class to hopefully go on to pursue a career in the arts.
