About the lesson
I teach all levels of guitar players and beginners in singing. I believe I have something to bring to the table to a lot of people's playing. I believe in always approaching and understanding the essentials many times, to have them deeply ingrained in you. That is how the artistic mind takes over and shuts off the logical mind, once you have internalized the simple concepts.
All my students love the way I approach more complicated concepts and make them digestible, finding ways to apply the students' own imagination and artistry to their studies.
My main focus is having students find their own identity on the instrument. How to play songs and understand them, so you have even more fun :)

About Joao
I am a guitar player, singer-songwriter and artist from São Paulo, Brazil. I started giving lessons at the beginning of the pandemic and have found great success with my students. I have been playing guitar and singing for 10 years now, and it's been my main focus in life for 8 of those 10. I have played in cover bands, and now focus on my own music, which is out on all streaming services. I have a scholarship to attend Berklee College of Music, something I decided to do because I wanted to be around the best people who could help fulfill my artistic vision. I love teaching and it's always great to see my students progress and find their own unique voice inside music.
