About the lesson

There are so many studies and research that shows the importance of keeping our brains learning. Adults sometimes worry about the onset of dementia, or if our children are well-rounded and “bright”. The good news is that, we have come a long way in brain development studies in children and adults-giving us insight on what we can do to exercise our brains.

For decades, scientists have studied and compared brains from birth. There is strong evidence that when we don’t use our brains for any of the following activities, there is less activity in the brain as a result. If we don’t use it, we lose it.

However, there are things we can do to keep these parts of our brain wired! Some examples include learning new languages, playing music, exercising, being active, creating art, creative dance, putting together puzzles including crosswords, solving riddles and problem solving. Of course it doesn’t stop here.

Fortunately, Ms. Darlene ensures that learning art is fun, meaningful and inspiring to her students. She respects, but challenges every art student no matter the age, to ensure their mastery of each skill.

Ms. Darlene has a BA degree in art, as well as several years as an experienced professional artist. Our team of academic specialists and experts in Dance, Music, Art & Fitness all hold decades of experience separately at Early Learning & Fitness Academy!

We are offering a wide range of courses that will help any student, any age grow. And we even specialize in English as a Second Language for teens and adults too.

Many of our educators have taught corporate clients, university students as well as K-12.
